ABOUT US

The land around Dufferin Lake has steep hills along some areas of the shoreline creating drop-offs to the lake. Virgin and Wesgate Lakes are somewhat flatter. Dicks Lake is surrounded by hills. The forest around the camp and lakes has blueberry patches and in the fall you can enjoy an exquisite snack whenever you dock your boat. Our boats are 16 footers with 15 hp engines and are equipped with life jackets, paddles and gas.

Dufferin Lake is located north of the 57th parallel and is approximately 150 miles north east of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. Dufferin Lake is in Northern Saskatchewan, accessible only by float plane, with flight time being approximately 45 minutes.

During your stay in the Northern Frontier, you can expect to see magnificent wildlife such as moose, caribou, bear, wolves and otters. You can also expect to encounter such birds as Canada geese, ducks, grouse, eagles and Whiskey Jacks.
